This movie shows us the life of a middle class neighborhood with the problems and the sentimental stories of its people. Four brothers, Stavros, Lefteris, Hronis, and Maria are the main characters of the story.

Hronis is married with Theodora or Dora as she likes to be called, who thinks of herself highly and finds Hronis too little for her. Lefteris is a soccer player who's engaged to Eleni, a cinema star. Stavros is in love with Maria, the princess, as they call her in the neighbourhood. She's from a rich but decadent family but she means to live as her ancestors once did, ignoring the people of her neighborhood.

Mary lives with her sister Nora who's in love with Hristo, who operates the tricycle of a gas sales agency.
